Twilight Tower

"Twilight Tower" is one of several block towers that remain on Topsail Island. Built in the 1940's, they were part of a US Govt. project that helped develop the ramjet engine. Sensors an other instruments recorded information on missiles that were launched from the current Town of Topsail Beach. This tower is privately owned and is on the beachfront between Surf City and the Town of Topsail Beach. Giclee reproductions are available.
